Colchuck Lake, WA

08.22.2021

This was my first hike in Washington state and I don’t really recommend it if you havn’t hike for awhile. Colchuck Lake hike is about 10 miles heavily trafficked out and back trail and with elevation gain 2300 ft. With lots of rocks, uneven surface and many tree roots on the trail, it was pretty difficult.

My legs were still sore after 2 days.

Twin Falls, ID

08.17.2021 - On the way to Seattle, Day 2

We spend the night at Twin Falls and I was hoping to shoot some good photos of the Shoshone Falls in the morning. It was a total disaster. Nothing like the photo shown on the Internet. The water level was so low that I bearly call it a waterfall.

Btw Erik ditched me at Boise. lol… He went on a flight at Boise and I had to drive another 7 hours alone.

Despite all of that, it was a pretty good day.

Horseshoe Bend in Page, AZ

08.16.2021 - On the way to Seattle, Day 1

It's been a crazy week moving from Phoenix to Seattle. The trip took almost 24 hours of driving. Fortunately my friend Erik is willing to come along for this road trip. We drove through Arizona, Utah, Idaho on our first day and spend the night at Twin Falls. We took a short break at Page AZ and visited Horseshoe Bend but doesn’t have the time to visit other places such as Antelope Canyon and Zion national park. I got to visit those places again.
